Two outstanding masters of West African dance are coming to Leipzig for an inspiring week filled with music, movement, and cultural exchange.
✨ Makiti Camara returns to Leipzig, bringing the powerful energy of traditional Guinean dance together with his unique Afro Fusion style.
✨ Binkiss Sangaré will teach in Leipzig for the first time, sharing the elegance, expressiveness, and richness of Mali's traditional dances.
🎶 Balafon master and Griot Sory Diabaté will lead balafon workshops and accompany the dance classes live with the captivating sounds of his instrument.
🥁 The musical direction is led by Lancei Dioubate, master drummer and teacher from a renowned Griot family. Through his live percussion, he creates the powerful connection between rhythm and movement, giving every dance its unique spirit.
